International Festival ”Black Sea Culture Heritage: Common Borders, Common Solutions.”
26-30 September, 2012 - Dobrich, Bulgaria

From September 26th till September 30th, 2012 Dobrich hosted the International Festival "Black Sea Culture Heritage: Common Borders, Common Solutions". The event was organized by International Management Institute with the extensive support of International University College and with the participation of all Project partners. The festival programme included a number of thematic exhibitions and concerts that aimed at presenting the culture of the five Black Sea countries included in the Project - Romania, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia and Bulgaria. Special attention was paid to the folklore and ethnographic characteristics of the presented countries, to their national culinary traditions and to their contemporary youth culture. Representatives of the 5 project countries were actively involved in the event. Although all festival participants presented the uniqueness of their native culture, all of them also strived to stress shared values and to find commonalities among the different peoples – not only in the ancient traditions but also in the common global trends that unite young people across borders.
